My Inspiration

Over at Gussy Sews, she's been having weekly inspiration workshops.

This week's prompt is your own inspiration!

While I receive inspiration from many places: my family, crocheting, all things vintage, great photography, etc.

...I decided today to talk about another very special source of inspiration for me...

which is children.

I'm in graduate school right now to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, and I work with children everyday.

Children have so much life in them, even the ones with disorders...

they inspire me to find joy in the little things like blowing bubbles, laughing with a friend, reading a book, going outside, pretend play, experiencing something for the first time...

I also have a passion for children with autism, so if you'd like more information on what autism is, here is a good website!

Loved your post! You are gonna be such a blessing to kids when you become a speech teacher. I stuttered all through first grade and had to go to speech. My weekly visits were always a hi-lite for me because my speech teacher was so kind. Love the pics too. :)
